A family law barrister needed a space that was welcoming and efficient but respected the privacy of her clients. Desks ETC created contemporary furniture in traditional warm timbers to accommodate meetings, a working space as well as providing storage for confidential briefs. The tinted glass in the bookcase doors reflects light whilst keeping the identity of the briefs anonymous.

This practical chambers fit-out combined the luxury and simplicity of  a solid Tasmanian Oak desk and return with the cost-efficiency and practicality of a veneered Tasmanian Oak wall unit. In addition to filing cabinets, a court-clothes cupboard was incorporated.

The desk and return includes a full electric elevating system controllable from an app on the client's phone. Combined with a reading stand, the desk is both a practical working space and a place to practice advocacy.
